The vocal ensemble "Altenburger Vocalisten" and the small-caliber rifle club Hartershausen can look forward to this generous support, which recognizes and promotes their valuable work.

The vocal ensemble "Altenburger Vocalisten" celebrates its 25th anniversary with a colorful program full of concerts and events that are supposed to revitalize singing in the region. With the special project "Paths to each other", the club wants to win even more people for choral singing and create new cultural spaces. "A project that is worth supporting with an OVAG donation of 1,500 euros," emphasizes the district administrator and highlights the commitment of the ensemble. The big highlight of the anniversary will be the Christmas concert on December 8th in the castle church in Romrod - an event that nobody should miss!

The second donation of 2,000 euros goes to the small-caliber rifle club Hartershausen, which urgently wants to restore its historic club flag. This flag, a relic from 1898, did not survive the time unscathed: patterns and embroidery loosen, and the flag is in a questionable condition. "The 2,000-euro donation from OVAG brings the shooters from the Fuldagrund a decisive step," explains District Administrator Dr. Mischak. The restoration of this unique flag, which represents a piece of German history, is of great importance. "It is important to preserve such memorabilia and to maintain for future generations," said the district administrator.
