Europabad Treysa opens after renovation: A new bathing experience is waiting!
in Treysa, a city in the Schwalm-Eder district, the European has reopened the European Reduction work after intensive three years of comprehensive renovation work. These measures were not only characterized by the usual challenges of such a renovation, but also accompanied by the effects of pandemic and war in Ukraine. For many citizens of the region who had previously visited the bathroom regularly, this was a long waiting time.
Finally, in February of this year, the final laboratory tests for bathing water quality came back, which gave the signal for reopening. The Zweckverband Europabad Schwalmstadt quickly decided to immediately release the bath for the public. Jürgen Kaufmann, the first district deputy and association leader, emphasized: "After the delays, we wanted to offer the opportunity to use the bath again as soon as possible." This should not lead to further delays.

The total costs for the renovation amount to around 4.2 million euros. The bathroom was renewed. The most important renovation points include:

- improved bathing water and control technology
- complete renovation of the toilet facilities in the changing areas
- energetic renovation and renewal of the flat roof

These renovations are not only an optical upgrading, but also an improvement in the security and functionality of the bathroom, which is of crucial importance for the health and well -being of visitors.
a place for security and health
Kaufmann also highlighted the importance of the swimming pool as a place of security: "Learning to swim properly is incredibly important to avoid accidents in the water." He also emphasized that the Europabad offers opportunities to strengthen people's self -confidence in dealing with water. It is not only a place of relaxation, but also an important part of health promotion.
The reopening of the European ABAD is a positive step for the community, which had to do without this esteemed place of leisure activities during the closure. Citizens can now spend their free time here again, improve their swimming skills and enjoy community experiences.
