Adrian Sipos remains: MT Melsungen secures defense rock for 2025/26!

The Hungarian district runner Adrian Sipos remains loyal to the handball Bundesliga club and extends his contract for another year until the 2025/26 season. The 34-year-old, who has been part of the team since the summer of 2023, will continue to act as a stabilizing element in defense and is known for his impressive sporting performance.

"Sipi is the rock in the surf of our cover," enthuses Michael Allendorf, the sports director of the MT. With its 1.98 meters, Sipos is not only physically impressive, but also an indispensable team player who quickly integrated into the team and enjoys a high reputation. "It is always relying on him," adds Allendorf and emphasizes how important sipos is for team dynamics.

The decision to extend the contract was easy. "We are constantly developing. That is why I switched to the MT. Something is created here," explains the handball professional enthusiastically. His family also feels at home in Northern Hesse: the children have already found friends and the younger daughter visits kindergarten while the older one attended primary school in Melsungen. "We arrived really well here," says Sipos, who looks at the coming season full of anticipation.
