Young administrative professional from Waldaschaff: Noah Zeuch enthusiastically in the town hall!

Bessenbach, Deutschland - A fresh wind blows through the municipal administration of Bessenbach! The 19-year-old Noah Zeuch from Waldaschaff has decided to accept the challenge of the municipal administration and could one day become a treasurer of the community. In May and June he successfully completed his exams for the administrative assistant, and the final exam was followed in August. Now he is already working in the financial administration and takes care of everything from the renting of barbecue areas to the organization of the community.

"dry or dusted? I can't confirm that!" Says Zeuch with a bright smile. "I can do something meaningful for others." After school, he was unsure which way he should take until his grandfather gave him the idea of doing an internship in the community. "It was an exciting experience, and I quickly realized how much happened in a community," he says enthusiastically. Mayor Christoph Ruppert is happy about Zeuch's decision: "Getting young people for the administration is extremely important and not easy." Noah is the youngest in the town hall team and brings fresh vigor into the department.

a challenging way

But the way to dual training was not a sugar slack! Only 89 percent of the trainees pass the final exam. "You have to practice a lot," emphasizes Zeuch. In addition to his work in the administration, he also attended the administrative school in Neustadt an der Aisch. "At first I didn't feel like it, but then it was a cool time with great lecturers," he recalls. His colleagues appreciate him very much, especially for his helpful nature and direct contact with the citizens. "Noah takes care of his tasks perfectly and is appreciated because of his open manner," praises community treasurer Michael Manteufel.

The flexible working time is another plus for the active football player. "I can combine my full -time job well with the training of the youth teams," he says. With a start at 7 a.m. and long Thursdays until 6 p.m., he still has enough time for his passion. "I even made others apply for apprenticeships in the administration," he adds proudly. A real profit for the future of municipal administration!

Background: Frankfurt, Offenbach and Hanau are looking for trainees. In 2023, around 1.22 million trainees completed an apprenticeship in Germany. The profession of administrative assistant is not the most popular, but still more sought -after than professions such as cook or gardener.
