A dramatic incident occurred on Monday evening in Offenbach: A 51-year-old man caused a spectacular sole accident with his black Renault Trafic on Strahlberger Strasse. The driver, who was alcoholic with over 1.3 per thousand, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a street lamp. But that was not all - after the crash he took the escape on foot! However, the police could not be shaken off and quickly found it at his home address, where the alcohol test showed an alarming value of 1.32 per thousand. The property damage amounts to a whopping 9,000 euros, and now the man is faced with several criminal complaints, including the risk of road traffic and traffic accident escape.

In the meantime, another incident was reported in Offenbach: On Saturday evening, an unknown woman willingly damaged a black VW Golf in Richard-Wagner-Straße. The perpetrator, an approximately 35-year-old man with a hook nose and three-day beard, cut off the exterior mirrors and left a damage of around 1,500 euros. The police are urgently looking for witnesses who can provide information about this incident.

In addition, a trickster became active on Monday afternoon, who tried to steal a senior citizen in her apartment on Pommernstrasse. The approximately 1.70 meter tall perpetrator, who was dressed with a blue jacket and gray hood, searched several rooms, but was discovered by the attentive pensioner and took the escape without prey. The police also ask for information from witnesses.
