Wächtersbach: Historical medical center accepts shapes - start of construction 2025!

Wächtersbach. An important project takes on! On March 21, the city council unanimously gave the city unanimously green light for the renovation of the pension chamber. The heritage law contract with Messe Wächtersbach GmbH has been signed and the planning phases have now been concluded. The building application is in progress and will soon be submitted. The start of construction is planned for the second quarter of 2025, and preparations are already in full swing!

In the past few months, the renovation has been worked intensively. Archive areas were moved and detailed votes with the monument authority took place. Restoring examinations and digital inventions not only revealed the state of the historical building, but also considerable damage! Roasted beam designs, broken bits and a massive fungal attack in the Mansarde are just a few of the challenges that need to be mastered. Despite these difficulties, everything is done to secure the historical substance and prepare the building for future use.

Intensive preparation work

The renovation will not only preserve the historical wall paintings and cultural details, but also create a modern medical center! Technology and storage rooms as well as a rentable area of 250 square meters are planned on the ground floor. On the first floor, a group medical practice will move into around 480 square meters, while a dental practice with around 450 square meters will find space on the second floor. Talks with other interested parties for the ground floor area are already underway!

Mayor Andreas Weiher emphasizes the importance of the project: "The medical center is a central component for medical care in our city." Nico Agostini, managing director of the project, is optimistic: "The previous work has been challenging, but we are on a very good way." The anticipation for completion is growing!
