Student as bosses: a day in the life of managers in the Kinzigtal
An exciting day for two students in the Main-Kinzig district! Tabea Kremer and Sara Boudnib had the unique opportunity to act as "bosses" in the district administration. As part of the “Students as Bosse” project, they accompanied District Administrator Thorsten Stolz and Vice Councilor Andreas Hofmann at various appointments and experienced what it means to take responsibility and make decisions.
in Gelnhausen, the two 16-year-olds were allowed to slip into the role of managers. Tabea, who learns at the Gelnhausen vocational high school and is interested in politics, was thrilled when she took the place at the district administrator's desk. "I think the Initiative of the business juniors is very useful. The pupils who can be a manager for a day receive lasting impressions," said Thorsten Stolz. Tabea dreams of working as a check-in agent at Frankfurt Airport after graduation.

Sara Boudnib, who volunteered at the Martin Luther Foundation in Hanau, was warmly welcomed by Andreas Hofmann. She accompanied him to the job café and attended the Office for Social Promotion and Participation. After graduating from school, Sara wants to study psychology or pedagogy. "An action day like this helps young people to recognize their own strengths, interests and inclinations," said Hofmann. "It offers support in choosing a career because he makes everyday work and the world of work more transparent."
The “Students as Bosse” project has been carried out shyly by the business juniors Hanau Gelnhausen for years and aims to give young people valuable insights into different professions. A day that not only enriched the students, but also the responsible!
