Heart health in focus: successful day of action in Gelnhausen!

Main-Kinzig-Forum, Gelnhausen, Deutschland - A spectacular event for heart health took place in the Main-Kinzig-Forum in Gelnhausen! The day of heart health, organized by the official medical service of the Office for Health and Health and Duster, attracted numerous visitors who wanted to find out about the risks of heart diseases. Under the motto "Strengthen your heart - recognize and treat heart failure", the urgency of the early detection of heart problems was pointed out. Dr. Wolfgang Lenz, head of the Office of Health, was enthusiastic: "All offers were very well attended." A total of 136 tests were carried out for cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure!

Important information for visitors

The alarming statistics speak for themselves: Cardiovascular diseases in Germany with around 348,000 deaths are one of the most common causes of death annually. Typical warning signals such as chest pain, shortness of breath and inexplicable nausea were urgently approached by visitors. "It is important to perceive regular check -ups and pay attention to the body's signals," said Lenz. Visitors were able to have free health checks carried out, which checked their blood pressure, the oxygen saturation in the blood as well as blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

In addition, there were informative stands that educated about healthy ways of life. The Rehabilitation Clinics Küppelsmühle offered healthy waffles to try, while the German Heart Foundation e.V. distributed valuable information material for heart health. The dental service of the Main-Kinzig district was also on site to clarify about oral hygiene. District Administrator Thorsten Stolz was pleased with the great interest: "Our heart action day is a low -threshold offer for numerous people to familiarize themselves with the topic of heart health."
