Free voters plan strong list of candidates for 2026 in the Main-Kinzig-Kreis

The free voters in the Main-Kinzig district are in the middle of the preparations for the upcoming local elections! At their most recent board meeting, the chairs, Sylke Schröder, Carsten Kauck and Joachim Lucas, put together a full list of candidates. The focus is on close cooperation with the local associations of the voters from Sinntal to Maintal. There are numerous candidates here who not only want to compete at the city and community level, but also fight for a place in the district council in 2026.

Currently the free voters with six MPs are represented in the district council, but that is not enough for them! "We will compete in 2026 to increase our number of mandate," explains the FW parliamentary group leader Carsten Kauck. Your goal? A strong increase in voices! The free voters are convinced that their municipal expertise and the important topics that they bring in the district council to make a good job. The focus is particularly on the health academy, the elderly and care centers as well as the Main-Kinzig clinics. These facilities are of great importance for citizens, but are currently on the brink financially. "The solution must not be the increase in the circular levy. The federal and state governments must finally provide the necessary funds," said Schröder and Kauck.
