Gelnhausen, Deutschland - Gelnhausen - a solemn reception in the BarbarossaSaal that made the hearts beat faster! District Administrator Thorsten Stolz honored five outstanding employees of the Main-Kinzig district for their long-term loyalty and their tireless efforts in the public service. Torsten Heske, Johannes Michel, Susanne Simon-Schramm and Irina Sinner celebrated impressive 25 years, while Jutta Szczes can even look back on a proud 40 years of service!
"A service anniversary is a milestone in professional life," emphasized Stolz, who thanked the jubilees for their reliability and commitment. "Behind each of these anniversaries have decades full of responsibility and the structure of valuable networks. Your work is a service to the citizens and for maintaining our democratic structures." The range of activities that cover the honored is impressive: from working with young people to the support of people with low incomes - each individual brings unique perspectives and expertise into the district administration.
The anniversaries in focus
Jutta Szczes, which is known as the “child of the Main-Kinzig-Kreis”, has worked continuously for the district administration since her training in 1984. Her focus is on the registration office, where she masters daily challenging situations with empathy and expertise. Irina Sinner, also on duty for 25 years, brings her experiences from various stations to the processing of the housing benefit authority and always shows tact.
Susanne Simon-Schramm, who has been working for the Main-Kinzig district since 1999, has made a name for herself as a youth education officer in the youth welfare office. "Young people in particular who are exposed to extremist whispering need special support," said Stolz. Torsten Heske, who started training in 2000, has witnessed significant developments in social policy up close and has been working in the finance department since 2020. Johannes Michel, who moved to the Main-Kinzig-Kreis in 2018, heads the department for the development of rural areas and quickly developed an excellent reputation.
The congratulations of the colleagues and superiors rounded off the solemn occasion and underlined the appreciation for the committed work of the jubilees. An evening full of gratitude and recognition for extraordinary achievements in the service of the community!
