City Councilor Michael Heim, himself a former professional soldier, took the opportunity to hand over two "yellow loops". One will proudly emerge at the town hall, the other at the old town hall and the tourist information. "It's high time!" Emphasized Heim, because the Bundeswehr is hardly visible in the region. Only five active soldiers live in Bad Orb, and that's alarming! With only 43 percent of the population who would be willing to fight for their country, the social support for the armed forces is questionable.

Major General Dirk Faust, the commander of the "Division Fast Powers", emphasized the importance of this initiative. The "yellow loop" not only symbolizes solidarity, but also hope for a safe return for all soldiers from dangerous missions. "This service is hard and dangerous, also for the families," explained Faust and emphasized the need to put the Bundeswehr into the consciousness of the population.

Neighboring municipalities such as Bad Soden-Salmünster and Birstein are already there, and freelance dishes will follow.
