Kassel, Deutschland - The renovation work on the A49-Südtangente in Kassel is currently bringing a massive congestion development with it that drivers on a tough test. A detour system for the bypass is currently not available, which further tightens the situation.

The Autobahn GmbH plans to complete the construction work by the end of March 2025. Nevertheless, traffic disruptions could still exist, in particular due to the upcoming bridge renewal on Nuremberg. Drivers have to prepare for another year full of challenges while trying to cross the city.
