An incredible offense on Hesse's streets: A 39-year-old driver from Baunatal raced over red traffic lights like a berserk this morning, while he was obviously under the influence of drugs! Thanks to the watchful eyes of two road users, this dangerous noise could be stopped before there was a serious accident - but luck was on knife cutting edge!

at 8:10 a.m. the first emergency call sounded. An attentive driver watched the brown VW, which stopped at a traffic light at green, and then continued to continue unabashed with red. Hardly a short time later the car thundered over a pedestrian traffic light again and brushed an older couple who was about to cross the street! They only escaped through a daring braking. It remains a miracle that nobody was injured because the chaos was unmistakable!

The police swung into action and finally found the VW on the Weserspitze. The driver was noticeably suitable for driving - the officers discovered almost 7 grams of Ecstasy in the car! The 39-year-old was arrested and taken to the blood sample-the results will now show which intoxicating means he had consumed. He now has to answer for serious violations of the Narcotics Act and for danger to road traffic. The driver's license and the vehicle keys have been secured, and the police are now looking for witnesses who can advise how hair -raising the driving style of the racer was.
