An exciting day for the little ones! On November 15, the officers of the Federal Police Inspection Kassel transformed into passionate storytellers and visited five social institutions in the region. The campaign took place as part of the nationwide reading day and was supported by the Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser. In daycare centers, schools and clinics, the police officers read in uniform and provided bright children's eyes and enthusiastic listeners!
police officers as role models
"An action for more than just read!" Emphasised first police chief commissioner Björn Schade. The presence of the uniformed readers not only created trust, but also a connection between the police and young generation. "We want to show that we not only ensure security, but also promote education!" Added Schade. The children were fascinated by the stories and listened to a spellbound while looking at the police with respect.
The promotion of reading had a clear message: books are valuable companions! The children's enthusiasm gives hope that many of them will discover the joy of reading. The small listeners experienced an unforgettable experience in facilities such as the “Schwalm-Zwerge” daycare center and the Friedrich Ebert School in Baunatal. The readers of the Kassel federal police left a lasting impression and contributed to promoting the children's reading skills.
The campaign was not only a success for the children, but also a strong signal for the community. The federal police are a partner in education and creates a positive connection to the youth. A day that is remembered!
