The German Weather Service (DWD) warns of Monday, January 6, 2025, of strong wind in Frankfurt and the surrounding area. There is a risk of heavy gusts of wind in the region. The FNP reported that the DWD divided its warnings in four categories: Warn level 1 nobility over 50 KM/H, warning level 2 includes both gusts of wind (65 to 89 km/h) and heavy gusts of wind (90 to 104 km/h). The weather warning in front of level 2 storm gusts applies until the evening. Affected counties include the city of Frankfurt, the city of Wiesbaden and the districts of Rheingau-Taunus, Hochtaunus, Main-Taunus, Groß-Gerau and Limburg-Weilburg.
