Lightning campaigns for children: 21 drivers punished with yellow cards!

Reichenberger Straße, 64521 Groß-Gerau, Deutschland - an exciting event for school! In Groß-Gerau, the school routes were made safer on Monday (November 4th)! A patrol of the police station, supported by police chief Fernandez, carried out a spectacular action on speed control in Reichenberger Straße. Pupils in the 3. class were also actively involved and had the exciting task to reward or blame the traffic offenders!

The "Blitz for Kids" campaign came at the right time! Between 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., the police stopped a total of 28 vehicles, which raced far too quickly through the playground. And the result is amazing: only seven of them adhered to the permitted step speed! These responsible drivers received a green card from the children - a sign of recognition and consideration. But the other end of the scale shows how important these controls are: In 21 cases, a "yellow card" was distributed, which indicates the misconduct and warns the drivers of possible consequences!
