A patrol of the police station, supported by police chief Fernandez, carried out a spectacular action on speed control in Reichenberger Straße. Pupils in the 3. class were also actively involved and had the exciting task to reward or blame the traffic offenders! Span>
The "Blitz for Kids" campaign came at the right time! Between 7:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., the police stopped a total of 28 vehicles, which raced far too quickly through the playground. And the result is amazing: only seven of them adhered to the permitted step speed! These responsible drivers received a green card from the children - a sign of recognition and consideration. But the other end of the scale shows how important these controls are: In 21 cases, a "yellow card" was distributed, which indicates the misconduct and warns the drivers of possible consequences!
