The Launsbach primary school in Wettenberg has successfully organized a fundraising campaign for the shelter in Gießen. As Giessener Zeitung , a total of 750 euros were collected, which were contributed by children, teachers and parents. In addition to the financial donations, the pupils also brought large amounts of food for the animals.
Harald Lieberman, the 2nd chairman of the Gießen animal shelter, personally accepted the donations and thanked the children and teachers in a brief speech. He praised the remarkable commitment of the primary school and the importance of such actions for the well -being of the animals.
