Techtour Fulda: Discover the future in MINT professions on November 2!

An exciting insight into the world of MINT professions will receive pupils and students in the Fulda district on Saturday, November 2, during the second Techtour Fulda. This event, which took place for the first time in March, caused a sensation at that time and attracted numerous interested participants. The first edition recorded approximately 100 young people who were able to use the high -quality offer for career orientation in local companies.

The second tech tour will offer three different tours for all participants, each of which includes corporate visits in nine different companies. "We would like to give our member companies the opportunity to get in touch with tomorrow's specialists," says Christian Vey, the managing director of the Techhub. These visits not only take part in innovative startups, but also well -known world market leaders who provide insights into their everyday work and the associated career opportunities. The Fulda University of Applied Sciences will also take part with the “Applied Computer Science” department.

a unique experience for the participants

The concept of the Techtour is designed to give students the opportunity to experience MINT and Tech professions up close. Regardless of whether you are interested in mechanical engineering, coding or other technical professions, the tour offers practical and exciting access to these professional fields. The participants can choose their own route and focus on different companies that correspond to their interests.

The tours start at 11 a.m. at the central Omnibusbahnhof (ZOB) in Fulda. A special bus transfer ensures that a smooth transition between the various company visits is guaranteed. This makes it easier for participants to get to know the different perspectives and working methods in the technology industry better.

The initiative is supported by the Azubi Region Fulda and the Techhub and aims to arouse a new interest in professions in the MINT subjects among the participants. "Techtour is an important contribution to inspiring young people for technical professions and helping them with professional orientation," emphasizes Carla Baus from the Fulda district. In addition, the event is funded by the Hessian Ministry of Digitization and Innovation.
