Young talents shine: writing competition Without dot and comma in Hessen

Frankfurt, Deutschland - Wiesbaden - A creative firework of youth literature illuminates the stage! The writing competition "Without a dot and comma" awarded the best talents from Hesse, and the tension was tangible! On Sunday, the radiant winners were honored in the Künstlerhaus Mousonturm in Frankfurt. Among the award winners shine two talented students from East Hesse: Lara Hey from Fulda and Theresa Wieland from Schlichter-Hohenzell. Her texts ranging from a poem to infinity to captivating horror stories show the diversity and creativity of the young authors!

"Without a dot and comma" is aimed at 12- to 15-year-olds and is an exciting cooperation between the Hessian Ministry of Science and Research, Art and Culture with the Hessian Literature Forum in the Mousonturm e.V. State Secretary Christoph Degen praised the impressive contributions: "The authors deal with their environment in their texts, take up new perspectives and try to understand other opinions. strengthens your own empathy and once again shows that art and culture work sustainably in all of us. ”

The radiant winners

A total of 379 young people took part in the competition, and the jury selected 20 outstanding award winners. The first places can look forward to 350 euros in prize money, while the runners -up will receive 250 euros. Your winning texts are published in a award -winning anthology! A special highlight: The class G8A of the Gutenberg School Darmstadt receives a special prize for your excellent posts and wins a writing workshop!
