Fulda, Deutschland - A spectacular dance spectacle took place in Fulda! The "small" florapokal, a highlight in the dance sports calendar, attracted numerous dancers and spectators this year. The coveted trophies have been fighting here since 1975, and the atmosphere in the festively decorated orangery was simply electrifying. The tournament ladies shone on the winning stairs of the six standard tournaments, while the winner's trophies, donated by Mayor Dr. Heiko Wingenfeld, decorated with floral accents.
In a gripping competition, 60 dancers competed against each other in different classes. Special class III was dominated by Hans and Petra Sieling, who delighted the jury and the audience with their elegant dance style. Mayor Dag Wehner, who was present as a guest of honor, praised the dance as a "art form that expresses music and movement in a unique way" and emphasized the importance of the Fulda dance sports club for the local community. The festive backdrop and the magnificent tournament dresses of the women as well as the men's fracks awarded the event a touch of glamor.

The participating couples, including the dancers Theo Withhelm with Ina Schuler and Michael and Annette Schäfer, sometimes traveled from far away to measure themselves in this elegant competition. The chairwoman of the TSC, Ina Sieling, presented trophies, flowers and documents to the winners, while Franz Mahr, the honorary chairman, moderated the program with his usual charming way. During the breaks, children's dance groups and the modern dance group provided additional entertainment, while the mass sports group delighted the audience with a performance of Johann Strauß's bat quadrille.
