We are looking for committed volunteer police helpers who strengthen the feeling of security and do an indispensable service. By the end of December, interested parties have the chance to apply for this exciting task.

The volunteers will be active in busy pedestrian zones, in markets and festivals. Your main task? To be the first point of contact for the population and, if necessary, pass information directly to the police. The police emphasize the preventive role of these helpers - they are the eyes and ears of the community!

comprehensive training for security

In order to be well prepared, the police helpers go through a comprehensive training of at least 50 hours. Here you will be trained in important topics such as law, tactical behavior, psychological basics and first aid. With this training you are ready to act quickly and competently in critical situations.

flexible operating times and remuneration

The volunteers can work up to 25 hours a month and receive an allowance of 7 euros per hour. Equipped with a blue uniform that proudly bears the inscription "Voluntary Police Service", as well as a cell phone and pepper spray, you are well equipped for your service. This activity is to be understood on a voluntary basis and not as a regular employment relationship.

If you meet the requirements, including a minimum age of 18 years, health suitability and a school leaving certificate can now apply. Interested parties should send their applications to the East Hesse police headquarters, with the application deadline of December 31, 2024.
