Cybercrime in Hesse: Two men arrested after large raid!
Wiesbaden, Deutschland - Wiesbaden. A dramatic blow to cybercrime! In Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, arrest warrants were carried out against two men who are suspected of having operated a criminal network on the Internet. The police carried out seven searches-including in Frankfurt, Darmstadt, in the Rhein-Lahn district and in the Rheinisch-Bergische district in North Rhine-Westphalia. This large-scale campaign was organized by the Federal and State Criminal Police Office and the Attorney General in Frankfurt.
The investigation is part of international cooperation that also included support from France, Greece, Iceland and the USA. During the searches on Thursday, extensive evidence was ensured that are intended to uncover the machinations of the suspects. The two accused, 19 and 28 years old, are suspected of having provided various criminal infrastructures on the Internet that were used for trade in narcotics and for computer sabotage.
