Mountain in Haselbach: Cyclists and Rollski fighters show record times!
Haselbach experienced an exciting event last weekend: The annual mountain run on the Kreuzberg attracted participants from the area, who took up the challenge of 6.5 kilometers. New this year was the possibility of managing the route not only with roller skis, but also by bike. The tension was great when the starting shot was launched at 1 p.m. and 13 cross -country skiers of the SKG Gersfeld started the competition.
In the cool air at only eight degrees, the athletes showed remarkable achievements. While Jahn Ciha and Christian Baier switched from Rollskiers to the racing bike this year and scored respectable placements in their age group men 31–40 - fourth and sixth place - Philipp Dänner held firm to the roller skis. With an excellent time of 27: 11.1 minutes, he emphasized that he dominated the race in his age group men 21 and took first place.

Her teammate Lina Kirchner secured the top stage of the podium in the U13. Lasse Wingenfeld also shone in the U14 age group and ran the distance in an impressive time of 16: 27.5 minutes.
The demanding route was a real challenge for many participants. The steep climb to the Kreuzberg monastery not only required physical fitness, but also mental strength. In order to celebrate the competition, a award ceremony took place afterwards, accompanied by a delicious strengthening for all participants. The mountain run in Haselbach not only offered exciting competition spirit, but also a valuable opportunity for community and conviviality.
