Traffic chaos in Seevetal: Life makes drivers heavy life!
The traffic situation in Seevetal remains tense and causes continuing problems among the drivers of the community. Persistent construction sites, repairs and unforeseen damage caused by accidents have caused it to find it difficult to find suitable routes. These disorders not only affect fewer roads, but also main roads that are essential for the connection between the places.
At the moment, different streets in Seevetal are either blocked or severely impaired. For example, the street "Maschen/Unner de Bult" is closed until Friday, October 25, 2023, while the "Maschen/Horst, Horster Landstraße" remains impassable by January 6, 2025. Other affected roads are "Hittfeld, Kirchstraße/Bahnhofstraße" until mid -October and "Ramelsloh/Ramelsloh, Ramelsloher Allee (Eisenbahnbrücke)" by the end of March 2025.
burden for the south of Seevetal
Especially the southern parts of the city such as Ramelsloh, Ohlendorf and Holtorfloh are faced with the challenge of getting to the northern side. The distances increase enormously if there are no more consistent connections. Usually a trip from Ramelsloh to Harmstorf would be possible in just five minutes, but the current closures could easily extend it to half an hour or longer. Due to the closures on the Horster Damm and the diversions via larger detours, commuters and residents suffer significantly.
Preparation for winter makes the situation even more complicated. Streets are partly equipped with a layer of rolling covers, which turned them into speed 30 zones and driving is also slowed down. The circumstances force drivers to rethink their routes more often and switch to less suitable roads.
risks through alternative routes
The multitude of restrictions also lead to residents try to find alternative routes. However, this can be dangerous because they sometimes take roads that are not released for car traffic. This has already led to risky maneuvers, where drivers try to drive past each other on narrow streets. These unsafe driving methods not only lead to damage to the vehicles, but also on road ranks and green areas, which could lead to further repairs and possibly new closures in the long term.
Current explicit reasons for the restrictions include the repair of the road cover in "Unner de Bult" and an incident in which a large -scale transporter collided with a bridge. The "Horster Damm" is also opened at short notice, which ensures additional diversion needs. In this difficult traffic situation, it remains to be seen how those responsible get the situation under control in order to enable the citizens of Seevetal a more detailed driving pleasure.
