Harburg, Deutschland - A eerie excursion into the dark past Harburg was captivated by numerous visitors on Sunday, November 10th! Under the direction of city guide Gabi Steger, 64 participants experienced a captivating journey through time to the Middle Ages, which led to historical places where once cruel executions took place and lived supposed witches. The dark atmosphere of the city tour gave a deep insight into the dark history of witch hunt and the draconian judgments that were felled at the time.

The Harburg night watchman, equipped with lanterns and halberd, provided an impressive ambience and accompanied the group with old songs and gripping stories. Lay actors, disguised as witches, beggars, judges and prisoners, played dramatic scenes that were told alive by Gabi Steger. These impressive representations made the terrible events of the past tangible and let the participants immerse themselves in the dark history.

But not only the stories were a pleasure! The guests were also spoiled with delicious dishes and drinks that fit perfectly with the historical scenes.
