Strike in bus traffic: Hamburg and SH are faced with major restrictions!

Kiel/Hamburg. alarm level red in bus traffic! A massive strike in the private bus industry in Schleswig-Holstein forces passengers to be patient. As of today, passengers have to adapt to considerable restrictions that will continue until Friday evening.

The Verdi union has called up the employees of private bus companies for a four -day industrial action, and the effects are already noticeable! All circles in the northernmost state are affected, with the exception of the district of Plön and the independent cities. The Hamburg lines have not been spared either! The Ahrensburger Busgesellschaft mbH (ABG) as well as the Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein GmbH and other partner companies of VHH.mobility stand still.

collective agreement broke: strike as the last consequence!

The reason for this dramatic industrial action? A burst collective agreement! At the end of September, the Omnibusverband Nord (OVN) revoked the already negotiated tariff, which sparked the anger of the employees. An overwhelming majority of 98.63 percent of employees spoke out in a vote for permanent strikes. The pressure on those responsible increases - the passengers have to prepare for uncertain times!
