Hamburg. A shocking incident that occurred during a Kurdendemo in Hamburg is now being put back in the spotlight! The Hamburg police initiated a public search to find the perpetrator who attacked a police officer with a flagpole over two years ago.

On July 23, 2022, the young officer accompanied an elevator under the motto "Solidarity for Kurdistan" when she was attacked by a unknown with a flagpole on Mönckebergstrasse. The blow hit her on her shoulder and caused pain. Despite the injury, the 27-year-old was able to continue her service after medical care. But the police do not give up and are now looking for the attacker!

State protection has taken over the investigation into dangerous bodily harm and an active attack on enforcement officers. Since all previous approaches to identify the perpetrator have failed, the public prosecutor has applied for a public search, which has now been approved by a Hamburg court. The investigators estimate that the perpetrator was about 40 to 45 years old and then had gray, shoulder -length hair.
