A dramatic collision in Hamburg-Bergedorf has demanded the life of an 84-year-old woman! The fateful traffic accident occurred on October 29, 2024 at 11:30 a.m. on Kurt-A.-Körber-Chaussee, when a car collided with the truck of a driver that stopped. The investigation of the South Traffic Directorate (VD 42) has already started and show alarming details - this incident has fatal consequences!

According to initial knowledge, a car occupied with two people drove the Chaussee towards Sander Damm when the truck stopped holding into a property entrance. Suddenly the driver of the car lost control and crashed into the truck with full force! Both the driver and the passenger were injured and taken to the hospital. Tragically, the 84-year-old died in the hospital after first aid! The truck driver, on the other hand, was unharmed-a shocking imbalance in this tragic situation!

Investigations in the course

The studies by the State Criminal Police Office for Death investigations (LKA 41) are now an important part of the process. It is meticulously checked whether the end of death resulted directly from the accident or whether other reasons could play a role. An uninvolved third vehicle also had damage through the impact and shows how far the consequences of this accident were. The investigation continues and we will continue to observe the developments!
