Police Hamburg: Large control at train stations - 53 people checked!

A spectacular police operation was carried out in Hamburg-Altona on November 6, 2024! From 12:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., around 55 emergency services from the Hamburg police and the Hamburg Federal Police Inspection were active on the heavily frequented train stations Holstenstraße and Altona. These train stations are not only nodes for train off traffic and the Hamburg S-Bahn, but also contact points for tens of thousands of commuters and travelers every day.

The police and the federal police worked hand in hand to ensure security in these lively areas. 53 people were checked during the mission, and the officials granted impressive 44 place references and residence bans. A man was taken into custody and a total of eleven investigations were initiated, including seven for drug offenses. Even an administrative offense procedure for urination in public was initiated against one person!
