A dramatic scenario unfolds on the A24 towards Hamburg! A burning truck has transformed the highway between Meyenburg and Putlitz into a chaos. The traffic stands still while the fire brigade started extinguishing work at 9 a.m. The reason for the fire? A burning tire that suddenly went up on the trailer of the truck!

Fortunately, the driver was able to react at the last second, disconnect the trailer and drive it to safety with the tractor. He was not injured, but the consequences are devastating: the highway is fully blocked and traffic is redirected. Joachim Lemmel from the North Police Directorate warns: "The whole thing will drag on for a while." The fire brigade now has the fire under control, but the post -extinguishing work lasts until around 10.30 a.m.
