The fire brigade Neuenhinzenhausen/Sollern recently passed an exciting performance test with flying colors! All 13 participants beamed with joy because they achieved the desired achievement badge. A great praise is due to the committed trainers and the hardworking firefighters!

Under the strict eyes of referees such as district fire chief Uwe Schuster and the commanders Günther Sperr and Thomas Berwerz, the strong community of the fire brigade was shown. Numerous spectators, including the local market councilor Thomas Buchner and the second chairman of the fire brigade association Christian Haunschild, were present and did not miss this exciting event.

In the demanding exercise "Group in the Lösch structure", the firefighters had to simulate a deletion attack in a fixed time and fight a fictional fire with three water buckets! The firefighters not only took the water withdrawal at the Schambach, but also had to perform tricky tasks such as knots and stitches and answer questions about device science and dangerous goods. If you wanted to go to the highest level, you even had to fill out a questionnaire!

The performance was recognized in various stages: bronze for Sven Hockeborn, Benjamin Herbert, Thomas Wanke and Janko Wachsmuth; Silver for Selina Kraus, Luis Kraus and Oliver Jabusch; Gold for Jonas Kraus and Peter Wiese; Gold green for Fabian Scheibecker and Fabian Frankenberger; And finally gold-red, the highest award, for Dohrn Thiesen, Peter Bierschneider and Bastian Schels!

Commandant Berwerz was visibly proud of the four “newcomers”, who were first faced with this challenge. The referees and the market council emphasized the outstanding cooperation and the excellent training of the fire brigade in Neuenhinzenhausen - a real success that makes the fire brigade and the whole village look into the future!
