Dubai chocolate conquers Meißen: sweet crêpes at the Christmas market!

Meißen. A sweet trend from Dubai now also conquers the Christmas market in Meißen! If you want to cost the delicious Dubai chocolate crepes, you no longer have to travel to Dresden. At the stand of Showmen Krämer, this exciting combination of melting chocolate, crispy pistachio cream and crispy Kadayıf in crepe shape is offered. Only the Sesame paste Tafini, which normally belongs, is missing here.

Jolene Krämer, who looks after several stands on the Christmas market, explains that they want to use the hype around the Dubai chocolate. The excitement began on social media, where influencers tasted chocolate for their followers and shared recipes. The trend that originally started online now finds its way back to the real world. On Tuesday, there were numerous customers in Dresden in front of the Lindt branch to try the limited "Lindt Dubai Chocolade"-some even waited for hours.

will the hype also arrive in Meißen?

But what about Meißen? So far, one day after the opening of the market, only three crepes have been sold. Jolene Krämer laughs and says that the trend may not have arrived here. "After all, we are not in a big city like Berlin or Dresden," said Krämer. However, she hopes that demand will increase at the weekend. With a price of 7 euros, the crepes are also cheaper than those in other cities.

The ingredients were carefully selected: the pistachio cream comes from an American candy store, while the Kadayıf was ordered by a Turkish website. The Krämer family has been an integral part of the Meißner Christmas market for 20 years and would like to stand out from the other stands with this special creation. It will definitely taste!
