City hall renovation: 14 kilometers of new cables for modern workplaces!
Main-Spessart, Deutschland - A comprehensive renovation project has fundamentally modernized the town hall in the middle sense. The business leaders Dieter Daus and IT area manager Harald Werner confirmed during a tour: the outdated empty pipes from 1986 were no longer efficient. Therefore, around 14 kilometers of new cables were installed in the office space for both the power supply and for modern network connections. Mayor Mario Paul in particular praised the new lighting: "The best is the light." This new technology contributes to improving workplace ergonomics and ensures even light distribution without hard shadows, which significantly optimized the working conditions, as Harald Werner also noticed.
modernization and efficiency in view
The old neon tubes were replaced by energy-saving LED lamps, which not only reduces energy consumption, but also improves the work environment. Daus emphasized the need for renovation, because before that there were significant problems with laying new lines by the old shafts. Now four network connections and six sockets are available to each workplace, and a central switch also ensures that the entire current is switched off after the end of the service.
Particularly noteworthy is the connection of the branch offices such as the building yard and urban kindergartens to the new telephone system that runs on the Internet. This standardization enables centralized administration. The total cost of the project amounts to almost one million euros, with the exact financing framework still being determined, since numerous invoices are still standing. The conversion could only be carried out because 43 employees had to temporarily move to other premises, which according to Daus demonstrated the excellent cooperation of everyone involved.
