New occupational therapy practice opened: space for holistic healing!

In a solemn ceremony, the new occupational therapy practice of the diaconal work was inaugurated in the church district of the district town on Poststrasse! The two committed occupational therapists, Melanie Bukowski and Celine Schultz, proudly presented the modern and generous premises that are now home for a variety of therapeutic activities.

The new practice over the Ameos Klinikum, where school aid was once housed, finally offers the therapists the urgently needed place. Occupational therapy was previously housed in the dog road in the old museum, the oldest building in the city. The decision to move was made due to the narrow and limited place that made the work of the therapists difficult. Now you can work in a sports room, a workroom, an art space, an office and a kitchen - everything that is necessary for effective therapeutic work!

a new beginning

"I am here with a laughing and a crying eye," Bukowski confessed, while she described the emotions of the move. Farewell to the old day care center was difficult, but the joy of the new possibilities predominates. "I can really blossom here and look forward to the challenges that come," she added. Practice focuses on the treatment of diverse mental illnesses and offers a comprehensive therapeutic approach for other health problems. Home visits are also offered to support people who are not mobile.
