Successful dinner event: Roter Gerd inspires in Tietjens Hütte!

Tietjens Hütte, 27711 Osterholz-Scharmbeck, Deutschland - A spectacular dinner event in Tietjens Hütte caused a sensation and was a complete success! The guests experienced the gripping history of Red Gerd, a smuggler from the Teufelsmoor, up close, while the authors duo Firoozeh and Michael Milbradt presented the acting implementation of their story. The restaurant was sold out to the last seat, and the Rotary Club Osterholz was happy about a successful event. In the future, the tickets for similar events will be sold digitally to minimize the effort.

The event not only attracted local visitors, but also guests from Lithuania who took the long journey. On dark night, open flames illuminate the outside area of the restaurant, while mulled wine and children were served at the entrance. The musical accompaniment by the Moorheuler created a festive atmosphere, and the raffle offered numerous profits, including sightseeing flights and vouchers for the all -weather pool. The list of sponsors was impressive and filled a whole sheet!

unique staging and support

The stage version of the game scenes was largely written by Michael Milbradt, who, together with his wife, also Rotarian, worked closely with the theater in Osterholz (Tiio). Director Frank Fromme was also actively involved and told the story with a thick book in his hand. The staging included about half an hour of exciting game scenes, and the TIO plans to continue this reading in the future.

The support for the event came from different directions: Findorff's heirs ensured the props that Sparkasse Rotenburg Osterholz took over the financial aspects, and Tietjens Hütte provided the food for the guests at cost price. As is a tradition at the Rotary Club, the proceeds of the evening flow into a good cause, in this case in favor of the TIO. An evening full of pleasure, culture and community!
