New habitat: Bremerhaven Green Stelen discovered in the Bürgerpark!
When the witch strikes, there is often only one way: put your head in the sand or break up with fresh courage. So I decided not to just stay at home, but to go on a walk. Instead of going to the nearby Speckenbütteler Park, I was drawn to the community park. The huge terrain, decorated with colorful flowers and autumn trees, now exudes its own charm in the golden season. The air is filled with an intense fragrance, while the soothing colors of the dahlias and asters shine around the bet. A true festival for the senses.
While I strolled through the park, I was hugged by the noises of nature: quacking ducks and the noise of the water in the boat pond formed a harmonious backdrop. But then something unexpected happened. On the Drachenberg I came across a phenomenal picture that made me pause. There, in the thick undergrowth, I saw a collection of bright green metal columns, which shimmer gently in the light of October. At first I thought of a memorial, maybe for the deceased, but the reality was very different.
a place of life
It was by no means a remarkable project for reforestation. These narrow, meter -sized sleeves are protective columns in which young trees grow up. In fact, it was hundreds of such steles that can be found in both the citizens and in Speckenbütteler Park. This fascinating project is part of a large -scale urban program entitled "Reset". The aim is to adapt the urban forests and parks to the challenges of climate change and to promote robust tree species.
The funds for this ambitious project come from a million-euro fund that is intended to ensure long-term investments in the Bremerhaven landscape. This initiative will not only improve the cityscape, but also secure the survival of the tree species for future generations, which can defy the climatic conditions in the future. according to information from www.kreiszeitung-wesermarsch.de .
The walk, which originally arose from a mood, became a journey of discovery that touched not only my eyes but also my heart. Who would have thought that a trip to nature, arranged by a mysterious witch fire, could lead to such wonderful knowledge? Thanks to the "witch" that caused me to go outside, I was able to experience this exciting initiative, which could improve our lives and the environment.
