On Friday evening, the 58th Bremer Sixdays was opened in the town hall. The starting shot was given at 8:30 p.m. with a pistol shot, which was given by 45-year-old Yvonne Dommaschke. She was elected “heroine of everyday life” by the Sixdays community and has been volunteering for eight years at the volunteer fire brigade in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, where she heads the children's fire brigade.
The SPD Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser and Cascada singer Natalie Horler were also present. Faeser made it clear that her appearance was not associated with campaign intentions. Instead, as a sports minister, she likes to take part in major sports events and expressed a positive statement about the tradition and excitement of the Bremen Sixdays.event details and highlights
The Sixdays Bremen will take place this year from January 10th to 13th in the ÖVB-Arena and adjacent halls. During the opening ceremony, Natalie Horler will present her hits live in Hall 4. In addition, Federal Minister of Sports Nancy Faeser will send cycling professionals into the race. The admission price for the event is 19.90 euros every day.
