The annual Christmas market is opened on the third weekend in Advent on the picturesque castle island of Köpenick under the motto "Köpenick - The Christmas Island". From December 13th to 15th, visitors can expect a magical experience that can take place undisturbed despite the construction sites around the old town. The anticipation is great because the Christmas market promises a festive atmosphere and numerous attractions!

The big start will take place on Friday, December 13th, at 6 p.m. with the traditional cut of the delicious tunnel. District Mayor Oliver Igel (SPD) will be present together with the captain of Köpenick and his guard to open the event. The opening times are tempting: on Friday from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., on Saturday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 noon to 8 p.m. The entry? Free!
