An exciting new chapter for the old town of Salzburg! Mayor Bernhard Auinger (SPÖ) launched an event office in Mirabell Castle to revitalize the old town with a flood of events. With two committed employees, this office will not only plan urban events, but also advise external organizers. A real gain for everyone who loves the pulsating life in the city!

Large concerts and public viewing in sight!

The Salzburgers can look forward to spectacular large concerts on Residenzplatz! Although the final commitments from the artists are still standing, two large events are already being planned for this summer. A festival for all districts!

Another highlight is the big festival, which is to bring all the districts of Salzburg together in 2025. The details are still in planning, but preparations are in full swing. Auinger and his team want to make sure that this event is on solid legs and includes all Salzburgers. In addition, there are already numerous permanent events on the program in 2025: from bike spring to Linz alleys and Kaigassenfest to the traditional Rupertikirtag and the enchanting Salzburg Christkindlmarkt.
