Youth fire brigade Biberach: Christmas tree collection campaign starts soon!

The Biberach youth fire brigade organizes a Christmas tree collection campaign that will take place on three days in January 2025. The collection offers citizens the opportunity to have their disused Christmas trees disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner and at the same time to support the youth fire brigade.

The Christmas tree collection campaign takes place on January 10th, 11th and 18th. On the days mentioned, "yellow sacks" are also distributed in the respective districts. The collective dates are as follows:

• 10. January: from 1 p.m. in five Linden, white picture (part), Birkendorf, Talfeld (part), old town and city center.
• 11. January: from 8 a.m. in Talfeld (Rest), Bachlangen, Sandberg, White Picture (Rest), Lindele, Gigelberg, Weingartenberg, Outer District, Wolfental and Hauderboschen.
• 18. January: from 8 a.m. in Hühnerfeld, Mittelberg, Schlierenbach, Galgenberg and Rißegg. In addition, the Mettenberg youth group collects in Mettenberg and Bergerhausen on the same day.

The trees should be placed on the roadside, ideally in one place. Potted trees and garden waste are not taken away. If the trees are forgotten, citizens can contact the youth fire brigade on 0178/7301400, whereby the fire brigade's emergency number should not be used.
