At a meeting in Neuendorf, organized by Mayor Steffen Scheller, concerned concerned citizens discussed the growing wild boar population on October 30, 2024. Scheller promised to find solutions together with Meik Fabian from the lower hunting authority and to hold the hunting cooperative responsible. Meik Fabian previously warned in Kirchmöser that the wild boars who are looking for the proximity of humans cannot be avoided. "There is simply no defense against wild boar," he said.
