Wagenknecht or chaos? Bundestag election brings new coalition puzzles!
Deutschland - The Bundestag election, which is due in a few days, is the focus of the public, especially through the newly founded party of ex-link politician Sahra Wagenknecht, the Alliance Sahra Wagenknecht-reason and justice (BSW). According to a current survey by the INSA published by the "Bild", Wagenknecht's move into the Bundestag could be crucial for the composition of future coalitions. At the moment the party is 5 percent, which means that it could fail at the five percent hurdle. If the BSW moves into parliament, government formation is necessary through triangles, since the necessary majority relationships are very complicated.
election surveys and political landscape
The Insa Sunday trend indicates that the Union is currently 30 percent and can only reach a narrow majority with the SPD (15 percent) or the Greens (13 percent) if the BSW can really overcome the 5 percent hurdle. If the BSW fails, a stable majority with black-red or black and green could actually be possible at only 43 percent, as Hermann Binkert explained by Insa. The uncertainty is great because 28 percent of the voters are still undecided, as the ZDF reports in the political barometer.
Since its foundation about a year ago, the BSW has already achieved remarkable success in several elections and is now starting for the first time for the Bundestag election. The election situation is exciting, especially with regard to the voter groups that are interested in the BSW. Most supporters are concerned about social inequality and want Sahra Wagenknecht to take care of educational and asylum policy. These topics still seem to be in the foreground, also compared to other parties, where similar concerns are loud. The voters of the BSW are older compared to other groups and have recently also visited parliaments in Saxony, Thuringia and Brandenburg.
The coming days are crucial. If the BSW is successful, this could change the entire political landscape of Germany and lead to government formation moving into a new phase. Now it remains to be seen how the last surveys will affect the election behavior and which parties will ultimately be found in the new Bundestag composition. The ZDF provides further insights, which illuminated the opinions and settings of the voters.
OE24 reported on the latest survey results. As the ZDF explained, the question of supporting the BSW remains exciting.
