Uckermark teams fight for fame at the 2025 Finro Cup!

As part of the winter break, football teams take the opportunity to test their shape in indoor tournaments. FC Schwedt (Landesliga) and Rot-Weiß Prenzlau (state class) took part in the 2nd Finro Cup of FV Preussen Eberswalde, such as Nordkurier reported. Both teams already had their encounters in the first half of this season: FC Schwedt in the point game and Rot-Weiß Prenzlau in the cup duel.

The indoor tournament, which took place in the Westend sports center, was characterized by high -class games and offered exciting duels in the preliminary round and in the final round. FC Schwedt played in Group B and achieved the following results: 2: 2 against Union Fürstenwalde, a 1-2 defeat against FC Eisenhüttenstadt and a 1-1 draw against the Eberswalder All-Stars. Rot-Weiß Prenzlau, on the other hand, started with a clear 3-0 win over the Ü40 selection of the 1.
