Lachen with Friedrich II.: Cabaret evening inspires in Schwedt!

An evening full of laughter and unexpected twists! The new cabaret program "The squaring of the old man" on the Uckermärkische Bühnen Schwedt brings Friedrich II and his quick -witted miller on stage. The two original spokesman from the popular radio show "Fritz and Müller", André Nicke and Andreas Flügge, ensure ingenious dialogues that captivate the audience.

But the start was turbulent! When King Fritz enters the stage, he forgot his campaign folder - a faux pas that ensures laugh! Nicke, in the role of old Fritz, has to quickly go back to the cloakroom, while Flügge bridges the time as a Müller and inspires the spectators with his charm. The king, stiff and noble, and the slit -eared miller are battle that takes the absurdities of everyday life on the shovel.

King Fritz as sub-tenant

The comedy reaches its peak when the old Fritz moves into the narrow mill as a subtenant and complains about the loss of his royal comfort. "The word living is given a completely different meaning for me," he scolds as he sets up his campaign office. Flügge as a miller helps him get rid of the grumpy king - with an election program that makes the citizens smile: "The citizen needs an enemy that he can hate more than the tax office."

The two protagonists fire their punch lines like fireworks! Provocative jokes and ingenious observations about German politics - from Chancellor Scholz to Habeck's balloons - ensure an evening that requires intellectual sharpness and at the same time stimulates laughing. The dialogues come from Andreas Flügge, who created a successful mix of caricature and lovable features with his characters.

"The quadrature of the old man" runs on the Uckermark stages and promises a royal three-course menu. The next performances are on November 21 and December 19, as well as guest performances in Templin, Seelübbe and Prenzlau. Set: 03332 538111.
