The Schneider family: Advent magic despite the tragic loss in Weselitz
A year has passed since the Schneider family from Weselitz had to accept the tragic loss of her 14-year-old daughter Sarah. The anticipation of the festive Advent season, which was once celebrated with colorful events on her farm, is now in the shade immeasurable pain. But on this first Advent, the couple, Marco (54) and Christina Schneider (49), want to continue the tradition despite their grief and let their farm shine again in a pre -Christmas glow.
The tailors do everything possible to ensure that the pre-Christmas market on December 1 will be a complete success. Traders who offer homemade goods are welcome to report. "We have space for ten stands," explains Christina full of hope. The couple wants to attract visitors with a magic program and culinary delights and at the same time keep their daughter's memory alive. "Sarah always likes to participate," reveals Marco while the grief is written in his face.
A festival of memories
The Schneiders emphasize that distraction is important to them from their pain. "This is the best distraction of our pain," they say and invite everyone to celebrate with them. There will be a chain carousel and slides on her farm for the small play equipment, while the adults can relax by the fire over coffee, cake and grilled. The family hopes that the visitors will help them go this difficult way and let Sarah's spirit live on in their hearts.
The first advent weekend promises, despite the difficult circumstances, to become a place of joy and commemoration. Everyone is invited to be part of this special time in which love for Sarah and the anticipation for Christmas merge. If you are interested, you can register for smaller celebrations during the week. The tailors do their best to make this Advent unforgettable.
