Fahrland breathes on: Ketziner Straße again freely to Mega construction site!

Fahrland, Deutschland - Finally the time has come! Ketziner Straße in Fahrland shines in new splendor after the entire hub of Marquardter Straße has been extensively expanded since June 2024. On Monday, November 11th, the area up to the bridge on Marquardter Straße will be released for traffic at the end of Fahrland. A true masterpiece of road construction, which has put the patience of the residents to the test, but now ensures relief.

What was not done! The roadway was redesigned, the southern unpaved side area was displaced, and two new crossing aids for pedestrians installed. To calm down local traffic, the construction work has been completed. The expansion of the knot took around five months, and a whopping 800,000 euros cost the whole thing. But the investment pays off, because security and traffic flow are significantly improved.

But the work is not over! Following the expansion project, there is another construction project of the state capital at the bridge structure in Marquardter Straße, direction of travel station Marquardt. For this, Marquardter Straße is completely blocked in this area. Two new bus stops are created, which leads to semi -page closures of the road with one -way street regulation towards the town exit. The direction of travel is diverted via Kietzer Straße, while the detour to the B273 is via Ketziner Straße and Satzkorn.

The construction work should be completed by the end of the year, so that the traffic restrictions in the local center of Fahrland will finally belong to the past. A ray of hope for all commuters and residents who can look forward to a more smooth journey!
