Environmental protest in front of Tesla factory: activists occupy excavators and demand stop!

In a spectacular protest, environmental activists have once again taken control of construction site vehicles in Grünheide and loudly announced their message! In the early morning, four hooded people occupied two excavators near the controversial Tesla factory. With anti-capitalist banners, they set a strong sign against the progressive construction work and demanded the preservation of the forests.

The police were not long in coming. Officials, supported by the height rescue, began clearing the excavator occupiers on Tuesday afternoon. Her ultimatum was clear: either the activists voluntarily clear or you have to expect legal consequences. If you cannot identify yourself, you run the risk of being taken into custody! The situation on site is tense and is observed closely.

The excavators are in use for preparatory work at the new Fangschleuse train station in the immediate vicinity of the Tesla factory. According to the Brandenburg Ministry of Transport, a swing for a new construction road from Deutsche Bahn will be set up here to enable the new fan lock traffic station. Tesla also plans to expand its site and to build a new freight station and storage space - a project that the activists want to prevent!

This protest is not the first of its kind. The activists had already occupied an excavator and even a tree in a similar advance to stop the expansion plans of the electric car manufacturer. It is clear: the fronts are hardened and the resistance to the construction projects in Grünheide is unbroken!
