Politicians between words and actions: How credible are they really?
Politicians between words and actions: How credible are they really?
In Hesse, the focus has been on the different views of politicians regarding bureaucracy in Hesse. While many of them publicly advocate less bureaucratic hurdles, their actions often show the opposite. One example is the different chambers of the economy, including the chambers of industry and commerce as well as the chambers of doctors and tax advisors, who have now submitted suggestions for reducing bureaucracy. It is to be hoped that they will not simply disappear in the archive.Another positive development came from Frankfurt: Mayor Mike Josef from the SPD has successfully initiated a city partnership with Lemberg in Ukraine. This partnership was not only decided, but also officially sealed by a delegation visit to Ukraine. The returnee, colleague Rainer Schulze, has reported on this significant journey, which was shaped by the idea of peace in the middle of the war.
look at the weather conditions
A mixed weather is expected for next Wednesday. It starts with local fog, followed by changing to strong clouds and occasional showers. The maximum temperatures should reach up to 17 degrees, which promises a relatively mild day.
special birthdays
Another highlight of Wednesday are the numerous birthday children who are in the spotlight. Among them is Johannes zu Eltz, who was a Catholic city dean of Frankfurt until April 2024 and is now 67 years old. Martina Keiffenheim, the head of the German Cabaret Archives in Mainz, also celebrates her 64th birthday. The list impresses with personalities such as Hans-Georg Paulus, the Secretary General of the Hessian Farmers' Association, who turns 63, or Albrecht Ollendiek, a Frankfurt fashion designer who turns 61.
However, there are also younger faces, such as Oliver Heberlein, chef of the Falkenstein restaurant, Königstein, who turns 57, and Alexander Horn, managing director of Lilly Deutschland GmbH, Bad Homburg, who turns 55. Also for Rosemarie Heilig, a prominent politician of the Greens who turns 68 - a time that she has identified as a head of department of Frankfurt. So the entire day is rich in events and celebrations.
All of these news show that Hessen is in a area of tension between political reality and the wishes of the citizens. The efforts of the chambers to reduce bureaucracy seem to be on the right track, but the implementation remains to be seen. In the meantime, there are also gratifying developments, such as the city twinning with Ukraine, which is not only symbolic, but also creates concrete connections. Waiting to the next steps is now necessary.
