The open state championships on Beetzsee have given the athletes of RC Plaue (Havel) e.V. numerous successes. The young rowers achieved excellent placements in their respective categories, and the team spirit was clearly noticeable this weekend.
The achievements of Jakob Adel, who secured the gold medal in the 13-year-old's lightweight weight, must be particularly noteworthy. In an exciting race, Vladimir Barbarov took an impressive place in the strong field of participants. There were also remarkable results in the girls' 13-year-old girls: Frieda Ostermann won the 3rd place, while Kristina Barbarova did well in midfield.

In the double two of the girls, Mia Brenner and Frieda Teßmer as well as Elli Zimmermann and Klara Adel were also able to show a solid performance and place themselves in midfield. In the 10-year-old boys, Elias Signowski, Oskar Ostermann and Friedrich Laubvogel competed in one and all achieved respectable results. On the women's side, René Gorecki also reached a place in the upper midfield in one of the light men.
In the men's four, Jann-Erik Radach was able to achieve the 3rd place in a racing community with the clubs from Rathenow, Halle and Potsdam. A solid placement in midfield was also fought in the mixed four to 13 year olds, consisting of Georg Gerstenbruch, Jakob Adel, Kristina Barbarova, Frieda Ostermann and helmsman Louis Signowski. In addition, the coaching and sponsorship team competed with Joanne Habeck, Amelie Landeck, Cesrin Laubvogel, René Gorecki and helmsman Melina Urban and also performed well.
Another highlight was the start of René Gorecki in the men's doubles in a community with the rowers from Mühlberg. Here, too, there was a good result that underlines teamwork, while Jann-Erik Radach together with Esko Siebert from Rathenow celebrated a 3rd place.
The championship balance shows that the athletes of the RC Plaue not only demonstrated their sporting skills, but also have a feeling of community and team spirit.
