Unrest in Kirchmöser! Wild boars penetrate the calm residential areas of the city and cause excitement among the residents. The hunting authority, represented by Susanne Fischer, explains the explosive situation: "We live with and in nature, and the wild boars are looking for the closeness of man." Unfortunately, damage in gardens and green areas cannot be avoided!

But Kirchmöser is not alone - also the neighboring communities such as Plaue, the Wilhelmsdorfer suburb, Görden and Neuendorf experience this wild animal invasion! Fischer warns: "An increased pressure and malice images are noticeable throughout Brandenburg an der Havel." There are no immediate solutions, because a legal defense against the wild boars cannot be realized.

The city offers solutions

To help the citizens, the city has initiated several measures! First, residents receive advice from the hunting authority, and if the conditions are correct, they could achieve local successes. Second, the hunting is intensified in selected areas! But be careful: "There is no guarantee of success," warns Fischer. The wild boars could even flee to safe places where hunting is not allowed! Third, there are educational offers for schools to take the fear of wild animals: demand from the educational institutions!

Despite all efforts, one thing remains clear: a complete "game freedom" is an unattainable goal! The challenge of combining people and animals in urban spaces requires patience and understanding from all sides. Kirchmöser - another place where people and wildlife meet!
